New Ventures China（NVC）supports green and social entrepreneurs in China. By providing promising small and medium companies (SMEs) with business skills training and access to investors, New Ventures is aiming to demonstrate that investing in sustainable enterprises makes good business sense and can break the connection between economic prosperity and environmental degradation.

NVC supports SMEs that offer business solutions to challenges such as climate change, natural resources depletion and poverty. We facilitate the transfer of capital to outstanding investment opportunities that incorporate social and environmental benefits while maintaining sustainability of the investment as well as the enterprises.

Jointly operated by the World Resources Institute (WRI), Fuping Development Institute and LEAD China, NVC recognizes the great potential of entrepreneurs to transform emerging economies while at the same time protecting the environment and supporting communities and the natural resources on which they depend.
